Lori Mooren
Lori Mooren is one of Australia’s leading safety professionals, specializing in occupational driving safety. Her employment and consulting background is in executive management, risk management, communications/social marketing, behaviour change programs and injury prevention. She has led a number of corporate reviews and restructures and organisational change processes. Lori combines a background in management, management consulting with health and safety experience to bring to clients a unique blend of expertise.

With a solid background in management and management consulting, Lori has a practical approach to designing policies and programs. She has also developed simple and effective evaluation tools to measure the effectiveness of these programs. Through her own company, Safety and Communications Pty Ltd, she links with others in the Fleet Safety Solutions network to provide clients complete occupational driving safety services.

Lori has post-graduate qualifications in social science. She is a national executive member of the Australasian College of Road Safety, a regular invited speaker at international road safety conferences and is on the Advisory Board of the Asia Injury Prevention Foundation.

Phil Sochon
Phil Sochon specializes in the delivery of consulting services to medium and large organisations to reduce the personal and organisational costs of vehicle crashes. He provides policy and advisory services to government agencies in best practice workplace driver safety management systems. He is recognised as one of Australia’s leading exponents of fleet safety.

Phil was the author of the FleetSafe Report, a benchmark document, providing guidance to organisations focused on reducing their fleet safety costs. He co-ordinated the development of FleetSafe with the twelve local government councils that comprise the Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC). FleetSafe was recognised for excellence in 1999 by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia and again in 2001 by the Australasian Fleet Managers Association.

He has been active in safety risk education and problem solving in the heavy vehicle industry, including dangerous goods transport.

Phil is the State representative on the National Fleet Safety Forum. He is also member of the Australian College of Road Safety, Institute of Management Consultants, Australian Institute of Management and Institute of Public Administration.
